What you submit
The checker accepts a Shopify store handle or permanent myshopify.com domain. It does not ask for a name, email, password, Shopify Admin login, or payment information.
The Catalog query tool accepts one public Shopify product URL, one buyer query, and a ship-to country. The storefront domain is derived from that URL. It does not ask for a Shopify login, ChatGPT login, name, or email.
What the checker requests
It derives a small fixed set of public storefront URLs from the submitted domain. Those requests can include the storefront, robots.txt, llms.txt, agents.md, UCP, Shopify Catalog MCP, sitemap, and one same-domain product page discovered from that sitemap.
The checker does not access Shopify Admin, customer data, order data, or private product data. It does not return or intentionally retain raw storefront files or page HTML.
The Catalog query tool sends the public product URL to Shopify's lookup_catalog operation and sends the buyer query and ship-to country to its search_catalog operation. It compares returned Catalog product identities and storefront offers so neither a different product from the same store nor a competing store's offer for a clustered product counts as the submitted store's observation. AgentSight does not cache or intentionally retain the product URL, query, or returned Catalog result.
Short-lived caching and abuse prevention
A submitted domain and its generated result can be cached for up to 15 minutes so repeated checks do not repeatedly request the same storefront. Failed or inconclusive results can be cached for a shorter period. The result is not linked to an account or requester history.
Short-lived rate-limit counters use a rotating, in-memory fingerprint of the requesting IP address and reset daily to control automated abuse across both tools. The site does not create an IP log or use that address for advertising or merchant profiling. Infrastructure providers can also process standard request data needed to deliver and protect the site.
Analytics, advertising, and sharing
This checker does not currently set analytics cookies, send submitted store domains to analytics, sell personal data, or use submitted information for personalized advertising. The checker links to the Shopify-hosted AgentSight listing; Shopify applies its own privacy terms on that page.
To measure whether visitors reach the Catalog form, the site records one fixed form_start event when a visitor first focuses that form. The event contains no product URL, buyer query, country, IP address, user agent, referrer, result, account identifier, or cookie identifier.
Links from this site to the AgentSight listing use a first-party redirect with a fixed page-campaign label. Standard infrastructure logs can show that a labeled link was requested, but the redirect does not include the submitted store domain, product URL, buyer query, or Catalog result.
Your choices and contact
You can use either tool without installing AgentSight, and the full result is shown without an email gate. Because readiness results are deliberately short-lived and Catalog query results are not cached or tied to an account, we may not be able to associate a result with a particular person.
